Day 1: Arrival


Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport. Meet and greet to Yerevan. Transfer to your selected hotel.
Check-in and rest.


Day 2: City Tour in Yerevan - Zvartnots
After breakfast, proceed for the city tour around Yerevan the history of which goes back to 8 th century.
Start with Republic Square, which was build 1950s by the project of Tamanian 20 years of after his death. Walking
through the Northern Avenue, which is the modern part of the capital and considers to be the heart of Yerevan.
Visit the Opera House and Swan Lake where we can have photo stop. Continue to Cascade monument which is an
open-air museum. Climbing up the stairs you will enjoy the fascinating view of Yerevan. Cascade Monument is
considered to be the center of art of the city as here you can find unique sculptures. In the evenings the
place becomes more charming with its lights and people from all over the world. Visit to Zvartnots, a
complex of structures erected in the middle of the 7th century, it is of extreme architectural value. Return
back to Yerevan.


Optional: Visit Brandy Factory. Here you have the chance to get acquainted with the little techniques of brandy
making process and tasting. – 12 USD per person


Day 3: Garni – Geghard -Yerevan
Today we depart for Geghard Monastery (13th c.) – which is cut out from a cave. The monastery had
been originally named Ayrivank meaning "the Monastery of the Cave". The name commonly used for the
monastery today is Geghard, or Geghardavank meaning "the Monastery of the Spear". The monastery is
included in the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Continue our journey to Garni Pagan Temple from 1st century. The temple was built by Armenia King
Tiridates and was dedicated to the God of Sun Mithra. Garni is the only Hellenistic temple existing today in
Armenia. The stairs of the temple are made huge and high which means that every human being climbing
up the stairs is ascending to the God of Sun. If weather permits, visit the Symphony of Stones or
“Basalt Organ”. This is a natural monument located in the basin of the Azat River, in the area of Garni
village. It is included in the list of natural monuments of Armenia. The monument consists of huge
symmetric hexagon and pentagon basalt columns (nearly 50 meters high), they are handmade bear
amazing symmetry. Overnight in Yerevan.


Optional: Armenian flat bread & quot, lavash" baking ceremony in an underground heater called " tonir" in a local house.
Here you will learn also how to make Armenian local sandwiches with & quot; lavash" and cheese. – total 27 USD


Day 4: Tsaghkadzor - Lake Sevan - Yerevan

After breakfast depart for Tsaghkadzor (Gorge of Flowers) – town of forested mountains. Walking tour
around the city. The most popular season to visit Tsaghkadzor is winter because of the famous ski resort
which is the biggest in Armenia and attracts tourists and professional athletes from all around the world
for skiing and snowboarding. Opportunity to ride up the ropeway which will take you to the peak of
mount Teghenis from where opens breathtaking views to the forested town.
The road will take you to Lake Sevan which one of the highlights of your trip. Climb the stairs up on the
peninsula for a fascinating view of the “blue-eyed” lake. Sightseeing tour on the peninsula. Lake Sevan is
considered to be one of the largest sweet lakes in the world at an altitude of 1897 meters above sea level.
Back to Yerevan.

Day 5: Departure
According to the flight details, transfer to the airport and departure home!
