Itinerary:

Day 01 : Arrival – Trivandrum
On arrival at the Airport at Trivandrum transfer and check in at the hotel. Trivandrum is a city built across seven hills with some of the most enchanting picnic spots, a long shoreline, with internationally renowned beaches, historic monuments, backwater stretches and a rich cultural heritage.  Later, depart for a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Shree Padmanabhaswami Temple in dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built in Dravidian architecture unlike other temples in Kerala. Napier Museum contains a fine collection of Kerala's bronzes, ornaments and costumes, Natural History Museum has an interesting replica of a Nayar wooden house built in the Keralian style , and Sree Chitra Museum has an excellent collection of Indian art. Arrive and check in at the hotel. 
Dinner and Overnight at Trivandrum.

 

Day 02 : Trivandrum – Kumarakom
After breakfast depart from Trivandrum and proceed to Kumarakom situated on the banks of the Vembanad Lake  and one of the world famous backwater destinations in the world. It’s a breathtakingly beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields, and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with water lilies. Arrive and check in at the hotel.
Evening at Leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Trivandrum.

 

Day 03 : Kumarakom
After breakfast,  visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary located on the banks of the Vembanad lake and spread across 14 acres. Local varieties such as waterfowls, cuckoos and owls as well as the migratory Siberian cranes can be viewed here. 
Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kumarakom.

 

Day 04 : Kumarakom – Alleppey
After breakfast, depart from Trivandrum and proceed to Alleppeyknown as the "Venice of the East" and famous for its boat races, houseboats, coir products, fish and lakes. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure OR visit the long sandy beach in Alleppey which is a major attraction. 
Dinner and Overnight at Alleppey.

 

Day 05 : Alleppey – Thekkady 
After breakfast, depart from Alleppey and proceed to Thekkady known for its proud mountains, winding valleys, scented plantations and crisp air. The main attraction is the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Evening free for shopping of spices like cardamom, pepper etc.  
Dinner and Overnight at Thekkady. 

 

Day 06 : Thekkady
After breakfast, leave for a cruise on Lake Periyar to see the animals in their natural habitat. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar remains the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lake's edge. The Periyar Lake is a paradise for the nature lovers. 
Evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Thekkady.

 

Day 07 : Thekkady – Munnar
After breakfast, depart from Thekkady and proceed to Munnar: breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility, the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, aroma of spice scented cool air Munnar has all these and more. Transfer and check in at the hotel. 
Evening at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Munnar.

 

Day 08 : Munnar 
After breakfast, leave for a sightseeing tour around Munnar visiting Devikulam a small and beautiful hill station that has a lot of natural beauty. Lush greenery, rare flora and fauna this gorgeous hill station symbolises nature in her pristine glory. Mattupetty situated at a height of 1700m is famous for its highly specialised dairy farm - the Indo-Swiss livestock project. Over a 100 varieties of high yielding cattle are reared here. The Mattupetty lake and dam, just a short distance from the farm, is a very beautiful picnic spot. Visit Rajmala the famous hill station of Kerala, the natural habitat of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. 
Dinner and Overnight at Munnar.

 

Day 09 : Munnar – Cochin 
After breakfast, bid goodbye to this beautiful hill station and proceed to Cochin. Transfer and check in at the hotel. 
Cochin is a cosmopolitan city, as well as the major commercial and industrial centre of Kerala. Also called the "Queen of the Arabian Sea" it's one of the finest natural harbours in the world. After check in depart for a local sightseeing visiting St. Francis Church the oldest European church in India, Dutch Palace having a fine collection collection of mural paintings depicting the scenes from the hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharata (Closed on Fri/Public Holiday),  Jewish Synagogue one of the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth countries . A number of copper plates inscribed in the Hebrew script are preserved in this synagogue ( closed Sat/ Jewish Holiday), Chinese Fishing Nets "Hallmark of Cochin" flank the cochin harbour. The elegant nets found here are one of its kind in India add grace and add grace and charm to a already characteristic waterside view. 
After a wonderful day of sightseeing return to the hotel.

Day 10 : Cochin – Departure 
After breakfast, proceed to the airport to board a flight back home. Return with wonderful memories of your vacation.
