ITINERARY:

Day 1 : Zurich - Lucerne
Arrive at Zurich Airport and proceed to board your train to Lucerne, nestled on lake Lucerne. You can explore this town on foot, visit its main attractions like the Lion Monument and The Chapel Bridge, and enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Lake Lucerne. Enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 2 : Lucerne – Interlaken – Jungfraujoch
Today you can take the panoramic Golden Pass train, with large windows reaching the ceiling, between Lucerne and Interlaken: an exceptional experience offered by the inimitable Swiss Rail. 
The two-hour journey takes you into the Swiss Alps aboard a train offering breathtaking views from every angle, as it passes through steep alpine landscapes across the Brünig Pass. As you marvel at the landscapes through your panoramic windows, you may find it difficult to keep up with the stunning scenery around you.
Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe – The highest railway station is located 3,454 meters above sea level. The railway journey to the Jungfraujoch is an experience which leads through the Eiger and the Monch and offers wonderful views. Once on top, you can access the high-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock, which can be admired from the viewing platform of Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps. Visit the Ice Palace, offering a unique world of shimmering ice. Also visit the Alpine Sensation, which was opened, on 1st April 2012, as part of the centenary celebration of Jungfrau railways.

Day 4: Lucerne – Mt. Titlis
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today proceed for an excursion to Mt Titlis. A pleasant ride onboard a deluxe motor coach takes you to the mountain resort of Engelberg in Central Switzerland, where you will board the aerial cableway for a 45-minute journey from the green valley bottom to the high alpine glacier region at 3020 m/10000 ft, which guarantees snow the whole year round. Enjoy a magnificent ride in the world's first ever revolving 'ROTAIR' gondola, which offers a 360 panoramic view of the Alps. Visit the Ice Grotto and experience the new 'Ice Flyer', a chair lift ride over the glacier with fantastic views into crevasses and ice falls and enjoy a snow slide on the 'Fun lift.

Day 5: Lucerne – Rhine falls
Enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the train station to board a train to Schaffhausen to visit the Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfall. They are truly magnificent, not so much for their height (a mere 23m) as for their impressive breadth (150m) and the sheer drama of the place, with the spray rising in a cloud of rainbows above the forested banks. The turreted castle Schloss Laufen on a cliff directly above the falls to the south completes the spectacle. Get close to the falls with a boat ride. After the ecstatic tour, return to Lucerne for your overnight stay.
 
Day 6: Lucerne – Schilthorn
Breakfast at the hotel.
Spend the day at leisure OR proceed for an excursion to Schilthorn with its unique revolving panoramic restaurant (Piz Gloria) and its thrilling James Bond 007 history. It takes you just 32 minutes by cable car to reach the summit of the 2970 m high Schilthorn. Enjoy the beautiful view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (UNESCO World Heritage) and more than 200 other summits.

Day 7 : Lucerne – Mt. Pilatus
After breakfast, spend the day at leisure OR proceed for an excursion to Mt. Pilatus. There is hardly another mountain in Switzerland surrounded by as many legends as Mount Pilatus. Mount Pilatus also encompasses an extraordinary, beautiful mountainscape symbolic of the country's magnificent natural splendour. Steeped in legend and tradition, this towering expanse in central Switzerland offers a magnificent alpine panorama and nature at its most impressive. To reach the mountain peak, take a short bus journey to Kriens. You take a ride with the panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway to Mount Pilatus (7000 ft / 2132 m). From here you will enjoy an unforgettable view over the surrounding mountains and lakes. Descend on the world's steepest cogwheel railway (48% gradient) to Alpnachstad. A boat ride on Lake Lucerne and you return to Lucerne.

Day 8 : Lucerne – Zurich
After breakfast, proceed to the airport to board the flight to your next destination, or home, with happy memories of your Swiss vacation.
